Dr. Shakera Moreland’s is the Founder of H.I.M. Concierge Services where her personal mission revolves around addressing external health factors such as socioeconomic influences, workforce development, patient access, and health literacy. With a profound passion for harnessing technological advancements, Dr. Moreland is dedicated to fostering the growth of the next generation of health information and informatics professionals. Presently, Dr. Moreland actively contributes to the Texas Health Informatics Alliance Workforce Development and Education Committee, Clinical Faculty for Southern New Hampshire University, and Adjunct Professor and Subject Matter Expert for various Universities. She’s held a significant role as a Board Director for the Texas Health Information Management Association, a state affiliate of the national American Health Information Management Association and continues to serves on various academic advisory boards across the nation.
