Each project requires:

• A principal investigator who is able to manage project funds and complete financial reporting
• A budget which meets the criteria outlined in the Financial and Budget Criteria section
• potential to advance the goals for teaching and learning outlined in the application structure
• confirmed funding match of 100%.

• matched by at least 100% in-kind funding from the institution and/or industry partners, confirmed by Faculty Dean or area leadership
• spent on:
  • Capital Equipment (ex. purchase of computer hardware, teaching technologies, medical equipment, furniture, etc.)
  • Software (ex. purchase of proximity chat programs, media creation and editing programs, virtual reality design programs, etc.)
  • Professional Fees (ex. wages of industry partners who will conduct training)
• Spent between start date and end date of grant [TBD]

• spend funding according to budget and within the time frame provided by the MCU
• complete reporting on spending and project progress as required by the MCU
• notify the Grants Specialist immediately of any deviations in project budget and/or timeline
• Provide end-of-project reporting metrics for internal use
