Awards

McMaster University offers two central teaching awards, and many faculties bestow faculty-level awards for teaching and teaching-related activities.

We also support our excellent educators as they apply to external teaching awards. Nominations to external teaching awards can often be made by peers, students, and others, and do not require approval from the Vice-Provost, Teaching and Learning.

We ask that you please notify the Awards and Grants Specialist if you are intending to nominate an educator for any of the external awards listed on this webpage. We’re here to support and to help celebrate!
